Yes- all preschoolers in the 34-week program must be potty trained. The use of disposable undergarments is not permitted.
Does Rainbow Preschool have Before/After School Care?
No, we do not offer before and after care. Our class length is 2 1/2 hours. Children should be dropped off and picked up promptly. Late fees will be imposed for consistent tardiness in pick ups.
What is your discipline policy?
Children will be prevented from harming themselves, other children, adults and equipment. This will be done in the most positive manner possible and in such a way as the help children develop self-control, self-direction and self-esteem. The instructors use what we call R & R method: remove the child from the undesirable situation and redirect the child's attention. Occasionally, the "time out" method will be used after the instructors have spoken to the child several times. Parental involvement is used if needed.
Does my child need to bring a snack?
Rainbow Preschool provides the daily snack unless it is a special holiday party day. A child is welcome to celebrate his/her birthday with the children in his/her class by providing the snack for that day. Parents are instructed that Rainbow Preschool is a peanut-free environment and any snack with peanuts or traces of peanuts will be sent home.
If my child needs to withdraw from class, can we get a refund?
In order to properly withdraw your child from Rainbow Preschool, a Withdrawal Form must be filled out and signed by the parent or guardian at least 30 days before your withdrawal date. Verbal notification to withdraw your child is not acceptable. Please contact the Preschool Coordinator to obtain the Withdrawal Form.
- If a withdrawal is done on or before August 18, 2017, a full refund of tuition will be reimbursed.
- If a withdrawal is requested after August 18, 2017, the first and last month’s tuition is NOT refundable.
- All refunds are subject to a $10.00 processing fee and registration fees are non-refundable.
- Tuition can not be transferred to another student or family for any reason. Lost tuition due to a withdrawal can not be transferred into a credit or to another family.

Payments will be automatically deducted, monthly, from the account you designate beginning September 15 for 7 months ending March 15. You may pay tuition in full before the start of the school year.
If there is inclement weather, how will I know if school is in session?

In March, we will hold parent/teacher conferences to discuss your child and the progress he/she is making. If the teachers have any other concerns, they will address the issues with the parent individually.
