City Presented with Pendleton Blanket for Vaccine Event

City Presented with Pendleton Blanket for Vaccine Event

Monday, September 26, 2022
This past Thursday, September 22, we were honored to commemorate the vaccine events held at Troy Community Center on April 22, 2021 and May 13, 2021, when our fitness area was converted into a make-shift clinic. More than 1800 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered at each event thanks to Indian Health Service. Daniel Frye, Bemidji Area Director, and Glenn Wilson, COO of American Indian Health and Family Services, came all this way to present the City of Troy with a Pendleton blanket as a show of gratitude, which Mayor Ethan Baker accepted on our behalf. We thank them and their teams for making the 2021 events a success.
