The Troy Nature Society oversees the programs and activities at the Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center.  The Lloyd A. Stage Nature Center and Troy Farm are located on a 100-acre parcel. The Nature Center features an interpretive building with classroom space, exhibits, children’s nature area, wildlife viewing area, library, and Raptor House that provides a permanent home for non-releasable birds of prey. Visitors can walk two miles of trails through the meadow, forest, marsh, and river areas.

The Troy Farm features two historical barns, garden plots for Troy residents, and walking/running trails.

Hours

Nature Center Building Hours:
Tuesday–Friday: 9 am–3 pm
Saturday: 10 am–4 pm
Open for special programs and classes 

  • Nature Center trails are open year-round from dawn to dusk for walking and nature study only; bikes, jogging, cross country skiing and pets are prohibited. Nature Center trails must be accessed from the Nature Center parking lot on Coolidge Highway.
  • The Troy Farm is not open on a daily basis to the general public. 
  • Troy Farm trails must be accessed from the parking lot on Beach Road and are for walking, running, and walking dogs on leashes. 

Major Events & Programs
