Little Medical SchoolAges 6–10

Little Medical School provides hands-on activities that will actively engage children as they explore the exciting world of medicine. Throughout the week, students will learn about tools doctors use and receive their own real stethoscope. They will also create many models, including a model of the brain, spine, eye, bone, and lung. Students will learn how to suture, role play a pretend surgery, and much more! Children will graduate at the end of the week and receive a diploma.

Little Veterinarian SchoolAges 6–10
Does your child love animals? Little Veterinarian School provides hands-on activities that will actively engage children as they learn how to take care of a pet and explore the exciting world of veterinarians. Throughout the week, students will use their stuffed dog and record in their journal how to take an assessment of their pet, care for wounds and stitches, and give their pet medication. They will learn what foods their pet needs in order to stay healthy, as well as those foods to avoid. Children will also learn and discuss how antibodies recognize and kill germs that enter the body. They will graduate at the end of the week and receive a diploma.

DNR Boating Safety ClassAges 10–Adult, offered in the summer only

A Michigan DNR Recreational Safety instructor will conduct a Marine Boating Safety class for ages 10 and up. Students will receive a certificate upon completion of class and passing of a written test. Please bring a snack, #2 pencil, and black pen. Registration is required. Parent must accompany 10 year old child 

Troy English Workshop: FREE!

Are you shy and afraid to talk to an American because your English is not very good? Improve your English, talk like an American, think like an American, and be part of the American dream. We do not teach ESL, English grammar, or boring rules. We focus on conversational American English. We speak only English in our workshops, which are open to all ethnic groups. Our volunteers are all American born and speak American English. Taking the workshop, you will be able to speak with Americans without being shy or afraid of your poor English. We want to help you become an all-American. For more information, call Mr. Lee at 248.926.2288. You must bring a photo ID to the first class. 
Class does not run in the summer. Will resume in the fall.
