The four Troy Buy Nothing communities are coming together for the 2nd annual City-wide giving event at the Troy Community Center. Think: giant yard sale, except everything is free! Come find items you need or plan to bring items you wish to give. Please email TroyBuyNothing@gmail.com to volunteer or to request a list of accepted items.

Jeffrey Cavataio is a classy modern day Crooner with an upbeat pop twist, captivating his audiences with heartfelt original songs and soulful renditions, such as Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York.” With these, he has invited vocal comparisons to Dean Martin, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Neil Diamond, and Barry Manilow as they are all known for their emotionally expressive tenor and baritone voices. Doors open at 7 pm.
TICKETS: $15 per person

Join us for a series of Family Roller Skating Nights at The Rink at Stine Community Park! Visit vendors at the Farmers Market, grab some dinner at on-site food truck, then lace up your skates and let the good times roll! A live DJ will be playing music for the themes below. Costumes not required, but welcome! Must bring your own roller skates, helmets encouraged. Below dates are pending opening of the facility! Embark on a magical journey! Come dressed in your finest magical cloaks.
  • Make your own wand to practice spells Meet the Potions.
  • Master and try out the careful science that is potion-making.
  • Pack fresh parchment to take notes on the History of Magic from the Troy Historic Village.
  • Have a letter to post? We’ll have our very own owls on site with the Stage Nature Center.
  • When in doubt, visit the Troy Public Library area for more activities.
  • Need a snack? Have a biscuit. Light refreshments available.

REGISTER FOR DOGGIE SPLASH 
Annual Doggie Splash 
Saturday, September 7 | 10 am–12:45 pm | Troy Family Aquatic Center | All Ages
Claim your spot early for our Annual Doggie Splash! After we drain the pool for the season we let the dogs have their day. No humans will be allowed to swim during this event (only ankle deep). You know your pup best: If your dog’s weight is on the cusp of a time slot, select the weight range you are comfortable with.
FEES ARE PER DOG: $12 Dog Park Members, $15 Residents, $18 Non-Residents | $20 walk ups if space allows day of event.

Registration opens 5/14 Res, 5/16 NR. Register by 9/6. No refunds or rain date. Owners must show proof of dog license upon arrival. No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat.

Photographers commonly take pictures of Recreation Department activities, which are subsequently used in flyers, promotional materials, on our website, in Troy Recreation Guide, Troy Today, and by sponsors. If you prefer not to be included in such photos, please let the photographer know before they begin taking the pictures or remove yourself from the area. Please note that all participants sign a waiver when registering for any Troy Recreation program or event.
